20 Second Reading...

20 Second Reading:

In the current fast paced life, we rarely have anytime for ourselves, let alone read.
We don’t read, we scan through news, Facebook posts and for that matter even mails J

Let me introduce you to an interesting concept of 20 Second Reading
NO, I’m not referring to the advertising Blitzkrieg that would numb your senses.
I’m talking about meaningful reading that would change the way you think/act.

Let me assure you it’s not a prank, please read the below 20 Second story:

The stone:

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream.

The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food.
The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him.
She did so without hesitation.

The traveler left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.

But, a few days later, he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.
“I’ve been thinking,” he said. “I know how valuable this stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious.

“Teach me what you have within you that enabled you to give me this stone.”

Impressive, isn’t it…
Even I was in awe of what could be communicated in 20 seconds and found its best done by stories…

One of the few authors, who does it regularly is  Paulo Coelho.

Share the dubba lunch...

Ever been to a poor area around your posh colonies and seen how hungry children are?
Ever seen the faces of the parents who have to tell their children, sleep tight no food tonight?
Now you can too do your bit by sharing a bite.
Spread this to as many people you can.
